Career Guidance for Graduates

University and College Students Career advisor

Between all the lectures, assignments, projects and fitting in “college life”, successfully progressing through the recruitment process to achieve your first real life job seems impossible!

Let me reassure you that although it may seem daunting I can help to make things a little easier for you when it comes to career decisions.

During the 11 years I have spent working in the Recruitment & Careers field, I spent a chunk of that time hiring graduates and interns for Graduate Programmes across several large multinational organisations including one of the ‘Big 4’ accountancy firms in Ireland. I was responsible for building the graduate programme & internship programme, promoting them in colleges and of course recruiting the graduates!

Through this experience I have the ‘inside scoop’ on exactly what employers are seeking at application and interview. I can help you prepare for each stage of the recruitment process including the interview assessment centre, and most importantly help you stand out from the thousands of applicants competing for a limited number of places!

If you have absolutely no idea what you want to do after college, have a slight idea but are not yet fully committed, or are unhappy in your current college course then career coaching may help you gain some clarity.

Areas I provide career guidance to college students & graduates on:

  • Figuring out where their job dissatisfaction is stemming from & options to resolve

Most people complete the on-demand Career Workshops first and if needed, follow up with a private career consultation. The reason this is advised is due to the affordability of the on-demand Career Workshops which provide you with 2-3 hours support which you can work through in your own time, at your own pace. The workshops are jam packed with information and answers to the many questions you have. Upon completion, you can then book a private career consultation should you wish to get further support on any particular issue you’re still struggling with, however, upon completion of the career workshops, many people don’t require additional support. Your findings from the workshops form an important part of our discussion during the private consultation.
