Career Exploration Workshop: How to make authentic career decisions
A three hour workshop empowering you to make more authentic career decisions in future.
You will gain clarity on what you want from your career, becoming “un-stuck” and aware of what has subconsciously impacted your career decisions to date, in order to make more conscious and informed career decisions in future.
This workshop gives you the opportunity to proactively set aside three hours to step out of auto-pilot mode to focus on your career, so that next time you want to explore new opportunities, you’ve done a lot of the hard work already!
This workshop isn’t just for those currently dissatisfied in their current position or currently studying and wanting to figure out what job might suit them best.
It is also extremely useful for those that are happy in their current position yet are interested in becoming aware of how they have subconsciously been making career decisions to date, in order to make more informed career decisions in future.
While career development is something we all classify as important, it’s something that more often than not gets pushed aside to deal with more pressing real time life and career issues.
This isn’t a “sit back & get bored by powerpoint” type of workshop. I understand that you have busy lives to return to, therefore, you will complete the work during the three hours while being guided by a career coach!
Maybe you don’t currently have the budget to spend on individual career coaching sessions and therefore this group workshop is a great opportunity for you to get three hours in-front of a qualified career coach! Or perhaps you prefer to learn and progress from a distance, rather than being the sole focus of individual personalised consultations.
It’s not just your busy lives that have stopped you allocating time to figuring out what you really need from your career, it’s also the fact that you just don’t know where to start, I get it!
After this workshop you're going to walk away with:
+ An awareness and understanding of how you have actually ended up where you are today. It’s fascinating to discover!
+ What you personally need to be mindful of when making future career related decisions, so that you don’t close any doors for yourself unnecessarily or wander down a path that isn’t authentically for you.
+ Knowing what’s really important to you and how you can incorporate that into career decision making.
+ Understanding what you genuinely want and need from your next career move.
What does that mean for you?
+ No more procrastinating about getting prepared for future career moves.
+ No more “falling into” jobs, courses & careers.
+ No more uninformed decision making.
+ No more feeling confused about your career.
+ No more fear that you’re not doing what you should be doing with your career!
It’s time for you to put yourself first on your own “to do” list and become aware of what you genuinely want in your career! Don’t wait to seek career guidance and advice when you become unhappy in your job and other areas of your life starts to get affected by this! Take action today to start navigating a career that enables you to live the life you desire both personally and professionally.

Here's what clients say about me:
Will the workshop entail group work or speaking about my career in-front of others?
No! Your career is very personal so this workshop is designed to enable you to work through each exercise individually as I guide you and answer any questions you may have. If anyone wants to share interesting findings, that is absolutely fine, but it’s not necessary at all.
I’m currently studying, can students attend?
Absolutely! This workshop is designed to suit people at all stages of their career.
What is the content of this workshop based on?
I completed a post graduate qualification in career coaching and development studies at Warwick University and therefore am a fully qualified career coach. I use my learnings from this qualification along with my own career experience working as a career coach. I also have 10 years’ experience working as a recruitment manager and graduate programme manager within various industries. This empowers me to really understand what you are going through during the recruitment process and enables me to share my expertise of the recruitment process with you!
I’m not unhappy in my career, will I gain anything from this workshop?
Yes of course! It’s fascinating to discover what has impacted your career decisions to date and so empowering knowing you can now use that to your advantage when making future career decisions so ensure they’re the right ones for you. It’s also really important to reflect on what’s important to you as you go through various life stages and ensure that your career caters for that. This workshop will also help you identify what you want to focus on as you progress in your career as we can often pass through each week, month and year in auto-pilot mode not making conscious decisions and strategically planning our career.
Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?
Yes, absolutely! I love a good career chat, so I will allocate time for that towards the end of the workshop.
Can I book in for a one to one career coaching session to discuss my findings from the workshop with you on a more individual level?
Yes! I’d encourage you to do that, if you’re in a position to. We can work together on an individual plan for you to keep up the momentum you started at the workshop so that you don’t continue moving through your career on autopilot!
Do you do other career workshops focusing on different parts of the career journey?
Yes, check out the other workshops I do and feel free to register your interest in upcoming dates.
Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?
Unfortunately not due to costs associated with running this event. Feel free to take the time to review your calendar before registering! You’re welcome to transfer or gift the ticket to someone you feel could benefit from it should you not be able to attend.
